I am a nervous wreck wright now. I got a new surge protector for Christmas. It has those indicator leds that tell you if it grounded. Its said my PC wasn't, I assumed it was because it had a grounding pin. My dad never told me that the grounding wasn't set upstairs. I have an electrician coming ASAP. i know its not a faulty surge protector because I tested it downstairs in a new part of the house, and it was grounded. I have opened my PC twice thinking that it was grounded. I didn't take out any components, just touched the outside of major components like the GPU, PSU, Hard Drive, and rubber watercooler. My PC has been fine for 6 months since I opened it. Am I screwed, or is there away to tell I did damage. I just want to know. Thanks so much for dealing with me on Christmas.
