Hi guys, can anyone help me interpret this test result? After 6 hours, it threw up one error:

Dont mean to be rude, but please only reply if you know what you're talking about. Thanks.

Kingston ValueRAM 2GB X 4 modules 800MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL6 DIMM Desktop Memory model: KVR800D2N6/2G

Bits DO stick sometimes. That is why servers run Error Correcting (ECC) RAM. Single bit errors like this can be corrected. Regular RAM that desktops use don't have ECC capabilities. It sounds like you don't have $$$ to do much other than run it like it is, so there isn't much else to be recommended.

It could be a heat/power thing it could be you have a marginal DIMM. There is a bit that was stuck on. If you are having other problems, then it might be worth thinking about replacement. Since this is Q6600 CPU, with DDR2 RAM, it is probably a good idea to start thinking about a complete system upgrade.

The PSU is a brand new Corsair CX600 and I'm presently running an open case system with low CPU (64C) and MoBo (37C) temps. At the moment an upgrade is not on the cards for me unfortunately since I just bought the new PSU and a new GFX card (HD 7770)

I ran test 5 and test 8 individually over about 20 passes each after getting this error and they threw up no errors this time so Im confused now lol. :??:
