Hey guys, I've posted many times on this but still haven't obtained the answer. I'd just finished building my new PC and plugged it into the monitor, I powered it on and immediately noticed the monitor displayed "No Signal" so I thought I was on the wrong input on the monitor but I was wrong, it was on the correct input (VGA). So I checked the cable to make sure it was in and as usual it was. I then began to question if it was a problem with one of my components, my pc turned on (fans, leds) when I pressed the power so I knew it wasn't the PSU. I switched all my RAM sticks and used one just to be safe, no difference, same problem again "No signal". I took out the CPU and placed it back in making sure it was secure. So I now believe my Motherboard maybe faulty, I connected a internal speaker which came with my case, and whenever I turned the PC on the speaker gave me 2 clicks then a 5 second break and then it would repeat again I also noticed at that point the CPU and PSU fan would spin for 2 seconds every 5 seconds, which I found weird. Is it normal for the internal speaker to click, or does that mean a mobo problem. The question is did I get a DOA mobo, or is it another component? Thank you!

clicking can be caused by a stuck-key on the keyboard. Keyboard errors will sometimes prevent you from booting, try another keyboard or another USB port. HOWEVER you should still be having a POST display. You can try getting the motherboard manual and seeing if there's listings for 'beep codes', such as constant 2 clicks every 5 seconds', would tell you what the problem is.

It's doubtful it's your monitor, although you could test using another one, I'd say the system isn't passing POST at all, so need to play with more hardware, or find out what those beep codes mean. If you haven't, try 'minimal hardware', disconnect everything but the power, ram, and processor, and see if you can POST.
