I have a Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H motherboard that I would like to install an after market cooler for. I will be using an Intel Core i5 4670 with Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

My main concern is that the FAQ for my motherboard says that 450g is the maximum limit for a CPU Cooler. Howver the 212 EVO is 104g + 465g = 569g, fan + heatsink respectively. This may seem like a bit of a silly question but this is my first time building a PC so it would be nice if everything went smoothly :D.

If this cooler is not compatible with my motherboard do you have any suggestions? I do not plan on overclocking but would like to get an aftermarket cooler for efficiency, also because I have read that the stock cooler is not very quiet. Also if you can suggest affordable (<$100) but recommended water cooling systems that would be awesome.

Thanks for Reading!

Yes the cooler is compatible with your mobo, but you might wanna use some zip ties to prevent the cooler from bending and breaking the motherboard.
it's there just so that the manufacturer doesn't need to replace boards that people have broken from putting too heavy coolers on them. and yes there is chance that your mobo bends and breaks from putting too heavy cooler on it, but if you support the weight some way it should be okay.
