Games vs Dual core

Solution

if you're going for AMD AM3+ platform get at least FX6xxx. FX4xxx is advertised as quad core CPU but to me it is more like dual core since it was configured in dual module. better choice would be going for intel i5 if you can afford it. no need to get expensive mobo for it.

COD maybe, the rest no. With $150 you won't be able to get any decent upgrades. A new CPU would need a new motherboard, OS, and ram.
