Hi i'm asking the same question many other people ask, when it comes to power supplies my knowledge runs dry..

I have an intel i3 3240 which i'm pretty sure never goes over 55W?
standard 1TB WD HDD
8GB RAM

Currently i have a low end HD 6570 and i'm looking for an upgrade to generally improve my gaming experience but also play later releases such as Sims 4.. I'm a casual gamer however after a long time of using the HD 6570 I have decided i wish to upgrade.

I am looking at the following options:

GTX 660
GTX 750 TI
R9 270

I'm looking for a graphics card in this performance range, i will at some point in the distant future upgrade my CPU and in turn with that beef up my PSU however at this current time i want to know what graphics card I can get without upgrading.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

The CX430 will easily support any of those cards. 32a on it's 12v rail is more than enough.

The GTX 660 is the most power hungry of them, and with that card in you system, it will pull just over 300w under full load.
