I want to get a new graphics card but i'm not sure if i can run a new one on my computer as I don't know a lot about them.

My PC specs (ask if u need more information) :
Processor-AMD FX(tm)-4350 Quad-Core Processor 4.2GHz
Graphics card-AMD Radeon HD 6450
MotherBoard-Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
Ram-I installed 16GB but it says it has 14GB
Windows-64bit

Any information would be nice thanks.

what power supply do you have? this is the most important factor here.

your computer is still very modern and as long as your power supply has enough amperage, you could theoretically run any single graphics card made as long as it will fit in your case. that doesn't mean you should, the fx4350 will start to bottleneck fairly quickly after a mid range card.

for the sake of being safe, an nvidia gtx750ti would be the easiest route since it is has very low power draw, is small, and only requires a single 6pin power connector. if your power supply is decent enough and has two 6pin power connectors, the amd r9-270 or r9-270x would be your best choice. any higher than those two card and would start seeing a cpu bottleneck.
