20+ GB of Space Missing From HDD

The other day, I uninstalled a couple of games to free up some space... Now, when I restart my PC, I always seem to gain at least a few GB of space on my drive, but this time was different. I LOST 20GB.

I figured maybe something was messed up, so I went back into steam to find that my games were in fact, uninstalled. What the heck could have just sucked up 20GB of space?

Now, I did download a few blockchains for different cryptocurrencies, but from what I can tell by the size of each, this would have only taken a couple of GB. Not the ~23GB that I'm suddenly missing. And none of them were bitcoin, which I know, has a huge blockchain size.

Does anyone know what's going on here? I'm puzzled!

install ccleaner. the 20gig are still being used by the games u had installed, it just never cleared the space..just any reference to them.
also the bitcoin files might be hidden from normal view, make a selection in folder view to show hidden files for the bitcoin processing area to check if they are still there.

WinDirStat is pretty sweet!

Also, to Doug, the space was cleared, it's not showing up anywhere in CCleaner or WinDirStat. I still can't figure that out...

I do still see a large pagefile.sys at almost 8GB and a hiberfile.sys at almost 6!

Even that wouldn't explain the 23 missing GB. Granted, both of these programs helped.
