Okay so when i went to turn my computer back on before post the message came up "new CPU or memory detected press F1 to setup or F11 to exit". The moment that message came up I noticed the new CPU fan/heat-sink I just installed wasn't spinning (which turned out to be the wire was blocking the fan) so I shut down my computer right away without hitting F1 or F11 to correct the fan problem. When I went to turn my computer back on it POST right away but then it shutdown right after and powered back on. I just wanted to know since I didn't press F1 to setup my new CPU am I okay? I checked task manager and it shows my new i7 processor @ 4.00 max, but its staying right at 4.32 or 4.23. Will my computer be okay lol? or does anyone know exactly what happened and why its staying around 4.32?
