I am experiencing stutter in a couple of games, and it seems to become worse. For example I think I am now getting stutter in AC II and III where before I had none.
First my specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
GPU: MSI GTx 970
CPU: Intel i7 4770k non overclocked
RAM: 6 GB generic RAm
600 Watt PSU, confirmed NOT to influence the problem
MB: Asrock z87 extreme4
Storage: 840 EVO SDD and a HDD.
For sound I am using a Meridian Explorer DAC.
Now, I have tried freaking everything to solve the stutter. In some games it's worse than in others. Metro 2033 stutter is simply unbearable. I started with CP and ini tweaking, then to priority setting, core unparking, virtual memory, then onto changing BIOS settings. Nothings working.
Please help, Im losing my mind. My GPU is not at fault, I swapped it back for my 760, same problem. Is my motherboard faulty? CPU? Tempreratures are normal.
