Just got the MSI GAMING 4G GTX 970 and only getting 50 FPS on Ultra in BF4?

CPU: FX-8350
GPU: MSI GAMING GTX 970 4G
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

I was expecting more FPS with this powerful of a card, any fixes?

The 8350 suffers without mantle, also do you have it with a stock cpu cooler and non overclocked?

You're getting nice FPS in Battlefield 4, though you should be getting like 27 more or something. Is your system/card/CPU overheating ? Does this happen on any other game (a FPS count lower that expected) or just Battlefield? Are you playing on multiplayer with lots of explosions and intensive stuff, or just normally?

I wouldn't worry too much, maybe try reinstalling the latest drivers?

Around 50 degrees Celsius

That's more than fine. What is your CPU and GPU usage during said sessions? In percentage %?

CPU total speed and GPU usage are both around 50

Total usage on the CPU? Well, that's odd. It shouldn't be that high. We may have found the culprit, do you have anything running in the background? I'm assuming you're using a 1920x1080 monitor.

I am using a 1920x1080 monitor I'm running nothing intensive besides Battlefield. Only Chrome and Origin
