I recently installed a new motherboard. It seems to turn on just fine but the issue is that my monitor can't detect any video. The first time I attempted I used my graphics card dvi, and that didn't work, then I tried removing my graphics card and putting it into the motherboard dvi, and that didn't work either. Can anyone please help? This is the first time I've installed a new motherboard

I installed a new motherboard (A88X-Pro) and CPU (AMD A-Series Black edition)

Graphics card is Sapphire Radeon HD 6850

Please make sure that all the cords are firmly plugged in to and from the monitor. Sometimes when shifting the monitor, the cable that plugs in behind it can shimmy loose, thus causing it to not detect a signal. Also, it would be great if you could test the monitor on another system (or even test a different TV/Monitor on your new motherboard to either eliminate or confirm a monitor issue). It's a long shot that your monitor could have gone bad just at the time you installed a new board, but it is entirely possible. Merry Christmas!
