PSU making clicking noise

Ok my xfx 450w is making the occasional clicking noise, it was regulaly until tapped it and it got quieter. Should i be worrying about the psu exploding or is this a common occurrence.

Is it a regular, rhythmic clicking? Like, could it be the PS fan dying or obstructed in some way? Does it sound like it could be a spark?

I think the chances are it's the fan bearing either dying or being obstructed. Is it old? Try blowing it out with some air.

If it helps I noticed the noise wasn't regular and kept going and coming back. I also got a torch and had a look inside the PSU grill while it was running and couldn't see any sparking. so perhaps it is just a fan issue. Do you guys think its safe.
