So I built my PC and when finished I booted it up. Only when it turned on there was no picture and also no beep as well. So after hours of tampering I figured out that my mobo was still functional because it beeped when I took the RAM out. I tried putting the RAM in various slots and even tried booting up with only one stick of RAM. I am now at a loss, if anyone has any ideas on what might be the problem please reply.

mobo is Asrock FM2A88M-HD+

sorry i thought i put the mobo in

i get three beeps indicating that I have a memory error (obviously because there is no RAM in the slots) but dosent the three beeps also tell me that my mother board is working fine? I assume this because it is able to tell me an error, and if this is the case then I assume that it is my PSU causing my troubles, but before i go and buy another PSU i would like to see if people agree that my PSU is my problem.

there are none, i put in the beep part of the story to explain that i know that the problem is not my motherboard......I my be mistaken on this but if I had a garbage mobo then it would not beep at all if RAM was removed (but i am quite new at this) so i think the part causing this problem is my PSU.... Would you agree?

So I just tried my PSU in another system and there was no display on that either.... Now (again) I am leaning towards the PSU as the problem.

So the new PSU did not work and I also tried one of my friends RAM with no luck. Am I correct in assuming that this is a problem with my mobo?
