Hi folks this is my first thread I need your help.
I have assembled a PC using these components :
Processor - i7 4770
Motherboard - Gigabyte ga b85 d3h
Ram - gskills rip jaws 4gb
Powersupply - looking for it ( used my friends corsair vs 450 for test boot )
Hardrive - seagate barracuda 1tb 7200
Graphic card - leadtek Quadro 600
Cabinet/chasy - ask 4000b-u3
Now the problems that I am facing -
1) which power supply should I buy CX 430 or antec VP 450p or any other recommendation ?
2) the harddrive that I am using is from 1 and half old build it has windows 7 os installed and lots of other stuff but the problem is that the system is showing bluscreen after windows logo ( at first i thougth my harddrive failed or corrupt ) just to check it I plugged it in different pc with core 2 duo procesor and it worked perfectly fine .. Do I need to format the c drive and reinstall windows ?
3) by mistake i have removed the wrong expansion slot from the cabinet/chasy i was supposed to remove pcie slot 16x but i have removed pcie 4x for the graphic card does it make any difference because now I am not able to put the small piece of metal back to the cabinet ?
This is a budget PC for animation and editing and this is the first time I have assembled a PC.
