So I have two wireless Xbox 360 for PC. I got that first one about a year ago, and it worked fine. I then got the second one a month or so ago, and it worked fine up till now. The problem I have is that the receiver seems to be detecting a third controller that is constantly keeps as player one. When I turn on my controllers it automatically sets them to controller 2 and 3.(as in the lights of the quadrant on the guide button) This is a problem because some games wont recognize the controller if its not controller 1. Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Tell me if you need to know anything else.

You could right click on it and uninstall. Do this for all controllers, then unplug them all, and plug back in the 360 controller you would like to use and it will install them again. Then you might need to redownload the drivers from microsoft.

I downloaded the drivers from the Microsoft website and It doesn't seem that there are any updates. I is there any way to check connected controllers?

Under the device manager its not under Xbox 360, but rather Microsoft common controller for windows class. Under devices and printers, I see Xbox 360 wireless receiver for windows, 2 Xbox 360 wireless controllers and a wireless Gamepad F710.
The F710 however has no batteries in it, so I'm not sure why its detecting it.

So apparently, for some reason, it started to detect the logitech controller and is keeping that as controller 1, how would I change it so it doesn't detect it?
