Two months ago I built a custom gaming PC with the following specs:

Mobo: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
CPU: AMD FX 8320 8-core
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i with stock H100i fans
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 750ti
PSU: EVGA 850w Certified 80 Bronze ATX Power Supply
Case: Antec GX 500 Window Mid Tower ATX Case
Fans: besides the H100i fans, 4x Corsair AF120 Quiet Ed (2x LED, 2x non-LED)

(In the second image you will see one of the stock Antec fans sitting on the 750ti to provide additional cooling to the VRM/NB.)

The h100i was an early Christmas present that was installed end of November, and since I've done researching regarding overclocking the FX 8320. Currently I have the CPU at a stable overclock of 4.825GHz on a bus freq of 260.84MHz, multiplier of 18.5, and CPU voltage of 1.488V. I am wondering, is this a safe level to remain at 24/7?

At idle (i.e. only Firefox and monitor software open):

After one hour of full CPU load via Prime 95:

My understanding is that the CPU temp reported under the "temperatures" heading inside Hardware Monitor is the socket temp. If that is correct, is 69C a safe socket temp at full load? Also, I have heard mixed opinions on whether or not the following BIOS options should be changed now that the overclock optimization is complete (these are the current settings, should they be changed?): Core6 state ENABLED, C1E DISABLED, SVM DISABLED, Cool'n'Quiet DISABLED, HPC mode ENABLED, APM Master AUTO. Will changing these affect my overclock? Will my CPU still be able to reach the 4.8GHz at full load but remain in low-power consumption mode at idle?

"If that is correct, is 69C a safe socket temp at full load?"

The CPU temp to be paying attention to is listed under TMPIN0.

If your CPU temps are at 57°C, it is not going to kill your CPU, but it is considerably higher than most would like. Try using Artic Silver 5 as your thermal compound between CPU and heatskink/cooler.

"these are the current settings, should they be changed?"

These settings are fine.

"Will changing these affect my overclock? "

Yes.

"Will my CPU still be able to reach the 4.8GHz at full load but remain in low-power consumption mode at idle?"

No. Enabling cool 'n quiet will allow your motherboard to control the speed of the CPU and its fan.

The only TMPIN0 heading I seen in Hardware Monitor is under the GTX 750ti, and that is for the GPU temp. For the CPU, under 100% load in Prime 95, it spikes to 60C for the cores for the first 20 sec of the test, but then the waterblock of the H100i catches up and the cores drop to 45C at most.
