Hi all, Thank you in advance for your advice. I am getting ready to build a new PC to game with when Windows 10 drops (would be a pain to have to buy two OSs). I built this system on newegg and am pretty happy with it. Including accessories it's around $800. At this price point, so called future proofing is impossible, but I tried to design it in such a way that I had options for expansion in a few years (increased ram, buying another GTX660 to SLI, upgrade the i5 to a high end i7 after the new architecture causes a price drop). If I decide to do this build I will also probably start buying the more quality-stable components now as they come on sale (such as the SSD, Optical, and HDD).

I would really appreciate it if you all could take a look at tell me if there are any incompatibilities that I'm not seeing or if there are better choices than the ones I have picked. I don't want to spend anymore than this though. I mostly play MMOs and sandbox type games (Gothic, Fable, etc.) and am not a hardcore gamer.

If this a gaming build then the GPU you have chosen is already outdated and a weak GPU at your budget.

You can look at this build around 800$ a much more stronger build for gaming you can play any game at max settings with this card.
