So while wanting to overclock, I watched Linus' video on how to overclock the intel 5820k with a asus rampage v extreme with a h100i, all of which I have. But when I boot the computer with a multiplier of 45 and 1.3v and open cpu-z it gives around 4.5ghz, which I like. But if I minimize cpu-z, I get a crazy number for all cores which is 1199.72 mhz... ??????? Can somebody help me out before I decide to go any further?

Is the 1199.72 showing as core speed? The speed will fluctuate from in the reading, if nothing going on it steps down, which is perfectly normal

What set of DRAM? Model #? If 2400 and trying to run it at 2600 will prob take more voltage and timing adjustments
