I am building my own 4-Bay NAS and frequently use Usenet to download stuff. I have noticed that because I use SSL encryption on the Usenet connection, my CPU becomes a bottleneck, it's an Atom D510 dual core.
I was wondering if a celeron dual core 2.7Ghz, which is still cheap, would be a better option?
So... is a celeron dual core 2.7Ghz faster than a Atom D510 dual core CPU and will I be able to use ~150Mbit of SSL traffic because the Atom won't let me. Maybe there is even an better option?
