I just installed an EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX and I'm getting coil whine. I've read up that coil whine is common with new video cards so I'm not too worried, I'm just annoyed by the sound. Whenever I run something over 60fps I start to hear it, sometimes when I'm even running at 60fps or a bit lower I still hear some coil whine. I read up on the internet that you can fix it with overclocking/overvolting and I'm not good with that stuff so if anybody can help me with overclocking/overvolting an EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX safely (please don't cause any damage to it) that would be great. I also read to work the coil whine out of it by running it under full load for long periods of time. Let me know if any of these methods work, right now I'm running games in vsync as a temporary issue to my issue. Reply when you can!

It would be great if I could have some settings I should set it to, I don't want to break it already! Also let me know if this can actually fix the coil whine. Thanks for replying so soon!

Okay I don't know what made the coil whine stop but it's gone now. I woke up in the morning and ran Unigine Heaven and Unigine Valley on extreme settings. I don't know if this fixed it or if it fixed itself over the night, but the coil whine is gone!
