Bought parts to build a computer. The RC550M is modular and has 4x8-pin rails.
I have a 6-pin PCI-e to 2x4-pin LP4's. Connecting a single LP4 from the PSU causes infrequent shorts in the GPU, and connecting two LP4's from the dedicated power cables of the PSU also gives shorts; I assume this means I need two 8-pin to LP4's to go from PSU to GPU, each on a different rail.
What cables do I need?
Notes:
The PSU was second-hand and did not have any cables aside from the dedicated cables.
By dedicated cables, I mean the braided power cables coming from inside the PSU which cannot be removed without opening the PSU.
The GPU only came with the 6-pin PCI-e to 2x LP4's.
