The R9 280 is the best value/performance. R9 285 performs worse then the R9 280 and has less vram, so it's out of the question (though draws less power). The 280X is the best but is it worth the extra 30? no.
thanks for the info, i was a little confused because the 280 and 285 were factory oc'd vs the nonoc'd 280x.
along with people saying the 280x was better, i wasnt sure how much better especially since it wasnt factory oc'd like the others.
reviews were saying good things about the 285 except for its mantle performance and vram, though i will only be using 2 720p monitors via dvi ill eventually upgrade to a 1080 monitor and tv.
