Your Graphics card, your using integrated. To follow up to un-confuse bottlenecking -

There is ONLY a bottleneck with your processor if it is currently at or close to 100% usage, or if it is throttling at a way too high temperature. If both a no, there simply will be no bottleneck with the new card. If there is, you should upgrade that soon also.

Definitely the video card before the CPU/motherboard. As a gamer you'll get much more mileage out of the GPU. R9 270X would be a good pair if you sick with the FX 4130, and upgrade the RAM to 8GB as most games nowadays are requiring more and more RAM. If you also can, you could upgrade your CPU to see quite a huge improvement as AMD's x1x0s are not good processors, the 6300 is better in every single way. But I'd upgrade in this manner: GPU, RAM, CPU (GPU and RAM will see you have a much bigger increase).

With this setup you can but you have to take into consideration that the FX-4130 is a weak CPU and can bottleneck when you reach the high-end cards. You also have to make sure your PSU is adequate as well.

if the above is not currently met, it's not limiting the cards.

If he upgrades his GPU to a high-end one of course there will be a bottleneck without a doubt. The FX-4130 is one of the weakest CPUs in the FX line-up.

Don't know if you can read but the processor will not limit the GPU unless it is under full usage, or throttling. Of course its weak, and it's cheap, but that doesn't mean straight away it bottlenecks.

I sad it will undeniably be a bottleneck if he plans to get a high end GPU and it's pretty obvious.

most misused word on a forum. If you would like to argue the fact that simply pairing high end with low end serves as a bottleneck, you are completely misinformed. If the CPU is not at load, it is not limiting the card, how could or can it? Jut because it's 'low end', doesn't mean it automatically bottlenecks because it's not good enough.

That's not the point. When playing demanding games the CPU will definitely limit the GPU. What I'm saying is that we can easily know beforehand that the CPU will limit the GPU in demanding games which I think this guy wants to play.

I based my statements on the hunch that he'll be playing demanding games. Don't know why you're acting put so much.

Well it obviously can in the right conditions can't it?

I agree that bottleneck is misused - I prefer the term 'cpu limited'
& yes that cpu will limit anything faster than a gtx 660 or r9 270 without a doubt.
Its irrelevant as we need to know PSU specs ,budget available at this moment & his country/currency/buying options.

I didn't word that as such properly, reading the whole thing again, we are essentially arguing the same thing here. The only difference is the lack of saying when it bottlenecks. The way it sounds to me reading it, is your saying the card will ALWAYS be limited, but it would appear you meant it to not.

I'm sorry if I came across like that. I based my statements of the fact that he will be playing modern games and would most likely be limited in his FPS because of his CPU.
