l'm not entirely sure but I believe my mb crapped out on me. I have to troubleshoot it today to figure it out. Btw, it was overclocked. It will not post enough to even show the bios splash screen. But that isn't even the real problem. I have a socket 775 chipset and was using an Asus p5n-d mb, which is a great mb (at least was). Unfortunately I can't find any of those mb's for less than $200! I either need to find a site where I can get one really cheap (under $100), or I need to find a comparable board for the same price. I need a lot of slots. I I used only one of the two x16 pci e slots and both of the x1 slots. There is also an x1 slot card in the other x16 slot (a sata 3card, a usb 3.0 card, and a good soundcard fill those slots). So I need at least that many slots to get this baby up and running again. Any suggestions?

I got it working again. In the process of troubleshooting, I first reset the bios then removed the video card and put in an old gt 630. It booted up to show the error "bootmgr missing". I did a system repair and it took like 4 restarts to get it to start up without that error. Then I re-installed my 750 Ti video card and it started up fine. I finally reset my OC settings back to where they were and everything is running fine now (2.66ghz OC'd to 3.4). I now think it may have something to do with the graphics card not sitting right in this case. I had trouble getting the gt630 to fit and had to use a DVI to AGP adapter because the HDMI port was in-accessible. My 750 Ti just doesn't sit tight either (that was the first thing I had...

The video cards don't fit right when I am trying to put the set screw in and I have to force the card back a little to get the screw in.
The interesting thing is it seems the last two cores (quad core Q6700) are running about 4 to 5 degrees cooler now. Now I did have to blow out the inside because there was this real fine white dust all over everything (fine enough to get past the filters) but it wasn't enough to cause concern.
