Screen Flickering Problem

Hi guys. Yesterday I upgraded my PC, I got a new power supply and graphics card, upgrading from an old unbranded, generic 500W psu and an amd HD6670, to a Corsair CX750W and an Asus GTX 760. Performance is great, as expected, but I've been experiencing some pretty bad screen flickering, like the pixels on the screen are flashing randomly. I'll post a link below to a video of something similar. The flickering is most noticeable when the screen is black, and when I play games, mostly noticeable in CS:GO and in BF4. My monitor is VGA input only, so I use a DVI-I to VGA adapter from my gpu to monitor. I honestly cannot find the cause of this. I made sure the cables are secured in the back of both the monitor and the gpu, and that the PCI-E connector is secured also. An extra note is that my gpu is ever so slightly sagging in its port, but it's the tiniest degree of sag, barely noticeable. I hope some of you guys can help me solve this. Thanks in advance.

I used to get this problem too but it went away when I switched my PSU with a more reliable brand (I was using an old cheapy one before) so a possibility is that there is some kind of loose connection from the PSU. I'd recommend that you make sure all connections are secure and there are no slightly loose wires coming out of their place. Another thing you could try is using a different cable, the same connections but a different cable for it to see if it's anything to do with loose connections within the wire.

This is just from my experience from before I changed my old PSU as it wasn't fitted correctly in the case. Hope you find a fix, best of luck :)

Yeah, I'll check if everything is secured, man. The power supply is a Corsair branded one, and Corsair aren't some shitty low-profile company, so I'm not sure if they have shipped me a dodgy product or not. Surely if it is faulty though, an RMA would be valid, after all, they do quote to have a ''3 year warranty".

Yes Corsair have very good PSUs so I wouldn't think it's faulty that's why I'd just check connections for grounding issues etc or even try another monitor to see if it does the same thing
