I was building a computer yesterday and everything was going fine. When I got done I turned it on and smoke stated coming out of my kraken x41. I replaced it with the stock fan and found out the other cooler must have broke the cpu cooler pins. I then plugged the cooler into the case fan slot on the motherboard and the computer booted up fine.
But then today....
I downloaded farcry 3 and everything was stuttering the cpu went to 100% load. I'm using a gtx 970 why isn't the computer going fast on these games? Also can I get the be quiet! Dark rock 3 and have it work without my cpu cooler header? Any help would be appreciated.
