Hi Guys,

As the title says, it's time to upgrade my graphics card. Can you guys suggest me any graphics card for a 1024x768 resolution, i want to play the latest game at medium-high at 30+ fps. My budget is about $70. The budget is not to high, I know, but i think medium settings and 1024 res. its enough.
By the way, i have a 300W PSU.

I wouldn't bother with new until your budget is in the ~$120+ range.

They've smartened up the GPU market, they don't make gaming GPUs for less than ~$100 anymore.

For $70 look for a used HD7850 or GTX660.

I don't recommend used - i bought 2x2 ram and one of it's not working... if you buy from normal shop you have warranty and stuff, but if you buy used... you're never sure if it will stop working a day later, a week later,...

The budget is $30-40. The only thing "new" in that price class is something like an HD6450. I guess we'll take that as your recommendation then. It won't play any of the games at the settings or resolution the OP has requested, but at least it will be "new."

You're basically suggesting that he spend the money on a GPU guaranteed not to do what he wants it to do.

I buy stuff on CL all the time. The sellers are almost always eager to prove before the sale that the item works by demonstrating it, or are more than happy to take it back if it is DOA. I've never had a problem. I don't see the issue. There are smart ways to buy used. Simply ask the seller what sort of policy they are going to offer in a DOA situation.

"new" is so overrated... The time and hassle involved with dealing with RMA's/returns on inexpensive consumer goods isn't worth it most of the time anyway.

I used for 1 year XFX Radeon HD 7750 2GB, and i played Far Cry 3 on Ultra Settings. Costs Under 70$.

I agree with mdocod, about budget range - 120$. I recently bought GTX 750Ti and it's perfect - for that prize..
