Hey guys I just installed everything and booted my computer. I put my windows disc in but it's only giving me the option of my ssd in my boot sequence. Any ideas?

Solution
Okay. Try this. Depending on your motherboard you should have a option that will allow you to designate what the component is listed on the SATA port.

Give me your mobo model and make. so i can point you directly there

I do want it on the ssd. It's a brand new ssd. I have to boot off the disc so I can install it to the ssd but when I go into my boot sequence it only shows my ssd and doesn't give me the option to boot from the disc. I'm not sure how to determine what number sata ports im using.

I checked the cables. If I leave the ssd unplugged my optical drive shows. But as soon as I plug both in then only my ssd is recognized. I tried installing off the disc but once I get to the partition screen I get an error saying windows cannot be installed on this disc. I'm so lost now.
