Bad CPU + Good GPU for gaming in 1440p

Hi,
I got an AMD Athlon x4 750k overclocked at 4ghz.
I´m planning to upgrade my hd7770 to a gainward gtx 970 4gb.
Will that be enough to run bf4 at least at high ?
Will it be hugely bottlenecked or just to a certain degree ?
My CPU cooler works totally fine and with the 7770 plugged in it doesnt really get hot.

The GPU should be enough but the CPU will probably bottlenck in some games.
I'd reccomend to get an intel CPU, it will be better in most games because of the higher single-core power. Some Core i5 is enough, better the unlocked version.
