Should i monitor the core or cpu temp? my cpu temp is 44 degrees celcius, but my core is around 70-80 degrees.
i read the cpu temp in SpeedFan, and the cores in both speedfan and RealTemp

Solution
Take a desk / window fan and blow air into your case with side panel off....if things improve substantially, you have a case cooling issue. If they don't change significantly, then you have a cooler issue. I use this:

i read temps 70-80 while running Roller Coaster Tycoon 2
i5 4590
Stock cooler
I read Consistent core temps from SpeedFan and RealTemp. other than that, no.
i surf the web, but i am gonna be getting a gtx 970, and maybe an after-market cooler, to run games.
i have the Corsair 200r with 1 intake and 1 exaust
i am not sure what the ambient temps are, but it definently isnt hot in my room.
