CPU Throttling FX-8320

I am running into issues with my CPU throttling while playing games such as Battlefield 4 and Rome Total War II. The temp. appears to be fine, it is never higher than 56C, and from what I can tell, it is not a temperature problem.

My BIOS is updated, along with all of my drivers. I have the settings for power use, set to max. performance.

Any insight or help would be great. I cannot figure this one out.

My system:
FX-8320
GTX-780
MSI-760GMA-P34
Thermaltake 600w
Coolermater EVo 212 CPU cooler
8gb of RAM
Windows 8.1

Yeah... You need a new motherboard. The one you have is awful for an 8 core CPU. You need to look for a good 8+2 phase VRM motherboard. This one is a good budget motherboard and it will be able to handle your...
