Should I get an i7 instead of an i5 to play Assassin's Creed Unity? I have read the recommend system requirements on system requirements lab and found that it said to have an i7-3770 @ 3.4Ghz.

Currently in my build I have an i5-4690k. Is there any chance to play Assassin Creed Unity on high settings with moderate fps with this processor? I don't particularly want to change processors because my budget is tight and therefore I'm not willing to spend $320 on a processor.

If I change processors will my build overheat while playing Assassin Creed Unity under full load?

Thanks a lot

ACU simply wont benefit from 8 threads on i7 just like any other game wont. 4690k is a great chip and it will last for quite a while now. Get a nice cooler like CM 212, ram up the speed to 4.2-4.4ghz and enjoy the speed! ;)

Is a cooler master 212 a better cpu cooler than Phanteks PH-TC14PE?
