What CPU is right for my PC? (GTX 760)

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my PCs CPU (and most likely my Motherboard because it's poo!), I really need your help...

OK, so this is what's inside my box;
Power Supply: XFX ATX 550w
Motherboard: AsRock N86-VS3
Graphics Card: GTX 760
Processor: AMD FX-4300

MY BUDGET IS £150

Yeah, so it would be very much appreciated if someone could help me out!!

Oh, missed that. Give me a minute. I'll edit this post and let you know what I found.

EDIT: You can get a Gigabyte 970A-D3P motherboard with an AMD FX 6300 with around 150 Euros, or you can increase your budget a little more to around 200 and replace the FX 6300 with an FX 8350 which would show a pretty nice jump in performance.

Oh, my bad. I thought I read that as Euros, which got me a little confused. Maybe I shouldn't be up till 2:30 AM. D:

Anyhow, you can pick a better motherboard such as the ASUS M5A99X EVO 2.0 or the ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer, depends on which you prefer. I personally own the ASRock paired with an 8350 and it works pretty fine, temperatures are pretty good as well. You may have to add some money in just in case the boards are a little more expensive, but it's worth it.
