I wanted to overclock my cpu with my new nzxt kraken x61, so I decided to load optimal defaults for a fresh overclock on the Asus m5a97 mobo.
For some reason it now defaults the core voltage to 1.512-1.524v even if I set it to manual and change the value, whereas before it was around 1.3v . I am using an amd fx 8320 previously overclocked to 4ghz.
This is really frustrating as it was changing yesterday and cpuz also gives ~1.5v no matter what I change it to. I have tried changing all of the settings I would usually use to overclock.
