Right now I have a 500 gb hdd with windows installed on it, but I'm making a new build with an ssd. I plan to install a fresh copy of windows 7 on my new ssd and would like to use my current hdd for storage. I want to completely wipe my hdd of everything on it to make it a fresh storage device for movies and games. How do i go about doing this?

Solution
Just install your SSD in the new computer and put the OS on it. Once that is done, connect your old HDD on your new computer as it is. Then do a quick/full format by right clicking on it.

Solution
make your new build and after your comp is running right with all drivers and etc installed, install the old win7 drive into another sata port, boot up and you should hace access to it to do whatever you want with it. Do a quick format and use it for storage if that's what you want.
