I need a NEW PSU for my DELL XPS 8700. I'm looking for any DELL XPS 8700 owners who have purchased and installed a new PSU in their PC and if so if you could please list the brand, wattage, and other description (maybe even a product link). I'm currently looking at the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, I've read nothing but good reviews from JohnnyGuru, & TechPowerUp.

I've read forums, user comments, ratings, various websites, newegg, amazon, tigerdirect, various brands (seasonic, XFX, antec, corsair, etc) all which have their ups & downs, so I want feedback from users who currently own or have owned 4/5 star products in their xps 8700. It seems any brand is game, you either get a good batch or don't, it can be DOA or have a coil whine issue whether its a reputable high end brand or not so please help?

Any product recommendations that you know will fit the dimensions of the DELL XPS 8700 and that work well?

RATE IT? - your product/price paid/what comes in the box/ installation process

Solution
on sale at newegg after rebate for $69.99 don't see beating a deal like that on that unit and a 10 year warrantee.. who else offers that at that price and build quality ??

UPDATE to ORIGINAL POST:

I ended up purchasing an EVGA SuperNOVA 750W G2 to replace the OEM 460W PSU that comes factory with the DELL XPS 8700. It's definitely a tight fit, I had to cram it up against a few connector cables that attach to the TOP of the audio jack+2USB hub on the top panel but other than that I'm pleased. It was a little on the stressful side to figure out how to connect everything with limited space due to the case/tower of the XPS 8700 but if you choose which cables to connect and do it in a certain sequence as I did, I was able to connect everything quite easily. The EVGA 750 G2 I ordered from NewEgg was not DOA, came with lovely connectors more than I needed in all black braided sleeves as well. My EVGA GTX 750 ti SC was running at about 22-24C idle and now runs at about 18-20c idle, usually a constant 19c. Power usage by my GPU was at 5% constant but now runs at 2-3%. Overall, so far I'm pleased with my purchase and will continue to monitor the usage and performance log of my GPU+PSU under heavy load and idle time. ECO fan is ON and seems to be pretty quiet to be honest. I will be keeping my EVGA GTX 750ti SC until next year when the EVGA GTX 960 is released, hopefully with decent specs (256bus+3/4Gb).

Registered both my products on the EVGA website & am waiting for my REBATES for the GPU & PSU to come in the mail $$$! (2 x $25 cards)
