Computer shuts down on first cold boot, works on next.

Every time I turn on my computer in the morning, it shuts off right as the windows logo comes on the monitor. I then turn it on again and dont have any problems. Any ideas? I can live with the issue, I just want to take preventive steps before there's any further problems/damage.

You using any overclock on the CPU or memory ? That can be reset by the MB bios on a failed boot letting the next boot work.

Suggest you post details on your system.

I dont believe I am OCing the cpu or memory. I can definitely try a BIOS reset regardless.

Have a 3930k, ASROCK x79 extreme 6, 4*4GB of GSkill memory and a 780.
