I bought an SSD, plugged it into my computer (removed old HDD), and installed Windows 7 on it. It works fine.

When I put the old HDD (would like to wipe it) and set the priority to the SSD in bios, it still boots off the old HDD.

Anyway to fix this issue?

Solution
You need to delete the boot partition from the HDD. Use Gparted to delete all the existing partitions from the HDD, recreate a new partition using all the unallocated space and then do a full format of the drive.
