Okay well the Hyper 212 Evo is a good cooler for the money. If and when you overclock and your goal is not to achieve the hightest possible the Hyper 212 should be enough. It's cheaper too.

The CPU height limit for the case without having side fans is 185mm so anything 185mm and under would work. If you are planning to have side fans then the cooler would need to be shorter. The Noctua NH-D15 is one of the best air coolers out there. I believe it is only 165mm with fans so it should work with your case and your CPU.

The Cooler Master Hyper Evo is a great cooler especially when looking at budget-wise but not as good as the D14/D15 in pure cooling performance.

@connar - are you really looking for the 'best' performer of air coolers without thinking of cost or are you looking for one in between. Do you plan to overclock? A little, medium, a lot?

i may overclock but the reason for buying a new cooler is because i live in aus and its really hot my room alone can get up to 30 degrees
