Tablet Says Connected. Internet Bar is active but stays white and will not allow any browsing

I have a Coby Tablet Just bought it like 5 months ago. anyway every time I try to connect to my internet it will not work. I have reset the router, forgot the network, rebooted the device, and shut off the wifi. And it still has not worked I have tried everything that I know. Please Help!

I have a Coby Android tablet, and at times the thing is picky about connecting to a wifi network.

I thought the wireless was dead in it at one point, but then I brought it to a public wifi spot,and it worked fine. I would suggest you do the same to see. When it connected, I had it do all the updates to the apps through the Google Play store.

With all the updates installed, it started working again, and has been fine for months.
