First time overclocker with 4690k, questions? :)

I am an overclocking virgin. Some are afraid to admit it, but I embrace it. It's always kind of freaked me out, I've always been too nervous to open up the BIOS and dive in, but with my recent purchases of an ASUS maximus hero VII, a 4690k, a 200R case, and an EVO 212 fan, I finally decided to give it go. After years of planning, thousands of hours of work, and my own tears, I was ready. My journey was about to begin. Fast forward 6 hours, I got to 4.5GHz at 1.275V (could get lower volts, needs more testing). I stress tested at 100% load for 8 hours, and it was stable with a max temp of 74C. Coolio.

QUESTION TIME!

1. Are those safe volts and temps to run at?

2. If they are okay, is it okay to run it 24/7, or should I turn my computer off when not in use?

3. Is there a way to make the clock slow down when the load is light, as in videos, browsing internet, etc...

4. What is the max temp and voltage to run on airflow?

5. Is it worth increasing the clock to 4.6 or 4.7? I mean, does 0.1 or 0.2 help a lot more?

Thanks! Any help is appreciated :)

Way better than I'm doing with my h100i water cooler. I'm starting to think I botched the installation. 74c is perfectly fine when stress testing, especially at that voltage. I hit that when I'm at 1.20-1.23v. Nice over clock, and pushing the voltage up to 1.3 might get you that extra .1 ghz and will probably still keep temps under 80 which is safe. And is it worth it? Hell yeah, for bragging rights and for the sake of your hobby. Real world performance boost? Minimal.
