Hello,

I am living in Canada and I've been looking for an i5-3570k CPU for a while now. I've been searching around and I can't find one that ships to Canada. No stores here support the 1155 socket anymore so buying one from store is not an option, unless I'm missing a place.

I'm just wondering how your guy's experiences have been buying products off eBay?

I would not buy a CPU off of eBay without reminding yourselves that it may have a problem (small to large). Even with CPUs marked as New I would be wary a little. If a reliable seller is selling a CPU as Brand New/never opened then it is a bit more safer. There are a lot of electronic products marketed as New in Open Box but I think of those as used honestly. They are opened, probably was removed and touched, warranty may have been used/registered by the original purchaser, etc.

I have bought numerous used video cards off of eBay and they all have worked at arrival and still work today even after 2-5 years. CPUs on the other hand I have had one dud, one had a small chip (still works).
