I bought a Power supply and It arrived dead Unfortunately :/.. here is the link to it. if you wanted to see it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013

and I have to return it for a refund! so much of a hassle lol...

I just need a Power supply that won't arrive broken and will last a decent time for a decent price looking for something around 50-60 dollars.

has to have to work with all this stuff

CPU: Intel i5 2320 4pin or something
GPU R9 270x TurboDuo Requires two 6 pin PCI-e Connectors and requires 185 watts.
Motherboard: Came with my acer computer I bought from walmart all I know is the model is H67
RAM: 8GB
1TB HDD
Optical Drive

but yeah Just need something that is going to work and all that...

Also a Few questions I have.

If I hook up all the wires and put the GPU in is there a chance something will mess up and fry my computer? what If I put a wire in the wrong slot Because I seen alot of the same plugs on 1 wire.

thanks in advance ;)

Alright, well it did not seem like it lol... now heres the problem the XFX TS series was recommended by two different people to me. I bought it and was waiting forever to setup all my stuff and was quite disappointed when nothing happened... Now the xfx ts 550W has a lot of reviews of it being DOA, now I said well what's the chances of it happening to me? so I risked it and bought it and this happened. I don't want to have to pay 17 dollars to ship it back and receive another DOA one because that's gonna be double the price of shipping and its just not going to be worth it anymore lol.

Maybe I was excited and did not press the wires down all the way? maybe.
so I have one questions before I do anything stupid

I hooked up all my stuff in computer ect plugged it in nothing happened so I put stock stuff back in and boom my computer started back up..

So I took the XFX and plugged it into the wall alone by it self with nothing connected the fan did not move so I assumed it was dead...but now I read that it has to be connected with the 24pin or something.

and I wanna go try to hook it back up to my computer one more time before I send it back, since I plugged it in alone is there a chance anything will happen like fry my computer or anything? I know it probably wont happen but just gonna take the safe route.

and when I'm looking at the 24 pin wire in one of the holes there is no metal "just blank" is that supposed to be like that? and it does not have a wire running into it, I'm assuming its supposed to be like that but just in case

Appreciate the help man!.
thanks in advance.
