This morning my PC crashed while I was playing some games, when I rebooted my system had disabled my graphics card drivers, after a quick re-install I noticed that my EVGA Precision X wasn't picking up the second card so I fired up device manager and noticed my second card was giving off a code 43 error.

I have uninstalled and re-installed my drivers 3 times, I also re-installed my mother boards PCIE drivers and even took both cards out and put them right back in to no avail. I thought it might be a heat related problem but after checking my personal logs(logs I wrote by hand into a notebook) both cards rarely get above 68 degrees Celsius typically hovering around 63 to 65 when I'm running games.

When looking through my logs I also noticed that the second card was usually working twice as hard as the primary card when gaming.

System specs:
I5-4690 3.5GHz
Asrock Z97 Extreme 6 mother board.
EVGA Nvidia GTX 660Ti x 2
Corsair H80i cooling
2 4GB sticks of RAM
EVGA 850 B2 PSU
1x 3TB WD HDD
2x 1.5TB WD HDD
1x 128GB Patriot Pyro SSD
Any assistance you folks can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
A code 43 error usually denotes dead hardware, try swapping the cards around or just running them one at a time to see whether the error follows the card or stays with the slot.
