What games can a upgraded HP Pavilion DV6-3111sa run?

Hi guys!

Hope you all had a lovely christmas, I got some new parts for my laptop at xmas, and wondering what games it will run now at a decent fps.

System Specs -

2.2ghz Dual Core - AMD Phenom P340
750gb HDD
6gb DDR3 Ram
ATI Radeon 5470/4250 Graphics (Switchable) - 512mb Dedicatated

That build can be improved quite substantially. Drop the optical drive as you can install Windows from a USB drive, and drop the fan as well. The time to buy flashy stuff like fans and custom cables is when you have a computer fast enough to do what you want it to do. I am personally considering spending between $150-200 on LED fans and strips and custom cables sometime in the next couple of months - with $200 you can make your computer significantly faster, whereas I can't.

Go with the Intel Pentium G3280 (or whatever that Haswell chip is) and a supporting USB 3.0 H97 motherboard - doesn't have to be expensive. Change to G Skill Ares/RipJaws memory if cheaper and swap out the PSU for an Antec, XFX, EVGA 500W PSU.

Wow.. Thanks! I think i'll drop the fan, but i'm gonna keep the optical drive as it is cheap, and I will need to burn things to disks, and use discs, for schoolwork etc, but i'll take your advice and get a haswell chip!
