In the past day I have been trying to transfer data from my external hard drive to my PC with USB 3.0, and for some reason it is extremely slow. It usually starts at 80 MB\s for few seconds then settles on ~20 MB\s. Sometimes it stops transferring (0 B\S) for a while.
For comparison on USB 2 port it transfers on ~30-35 MB\s for me.
I have tried updating my drivers but no luck.
Motherboard: MSI P55A G55
trying to transfer files from: My Book Essential WDBAAF0015HBK to: WDC WD5000AAKX-001CA0 ATA Device.
I still need to transfer a large amount of data (then transfer it to another hard drive).
Any Ideas?
