I recently built my first gaming pc. When I built it everything went together, but I got no picture on my monitor. I went down to the computer store that I got the parts from and they said I might need to update the bios. I wasn't sure so could someone please tell me if I do. My motherboard is the AsRock 970 Extreme3 /970 Extreme3 R2 and my cpu is the AMD FX-8320 3.5Ghz 8-Core.
