will "N" devices connect to an "AC" router?

In my home we have about 7 total devices connected to our wireless router. The current router we have is dying on us and i was looking for a new one. I came across this AC dual ban router on sale.

Because every thing in the house has N chips (some support 5GHZ some do not) in them will they work/connect to AC and will the even get some benefits like beam forming?

Yes. Wireless N devices will work fine with an AC router. An AC router may give a small performance increase (this is a point of debate in the community)...

The AC router is backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g/n networks, so you can upgrade easily.

The router is backward compatible with N, so your devices will use the N-standard when connecting. Only devices supporting AC will use that standard when connecting to the router.

Netgear routers that support Beamforming+ are compatible with all client devices. I don't believe that particular model you listed supports Beamforming+
