So, I just tried to OC for a couple of hours, and I got my FX-8320 to 4.3GHz with 1.4V. Trying to get more, I placed it to 4.4GHz, and bumped the voltage to 1.425.
I only need to wait 2-3 secs before one core fails in prime95. Is this it?
No, there should be more available than that. I'm not super well versed on OCing, so I'll defer to someone else on that. Are you running on water or air?
Hmm... every time I try to mess with my settings, I end up locking it up and having to reset the BIOS. As such, I'm not the one to discuss the intricacies of settings such as multipliers and voltages and such. Still, I would think you'd be getting more out of it than that.
